The King of France : What was his reaction to Anne Boleyn's beheading?
Most of the people are aware that Anne Boleyn consider the king of France (Francis 1) a friend, and Anne once tried to contact the king of France, in hope that she could get him to change his mind, and allow his son to marry her daughter Elizabeth, so that Elizabeth would seem to be legitimate in the eyes of the people. Anne also told the French ambassador that it was a life and death situation. So do anyone know what was Francis 1 reaction to the fact that Anne was arrested? or what was his reaction to her beheading? Do anyone know if he tried to contact Anne, or Henry VIII? Did he say anything about it, "After" Anne's beheading?
