In the Burton version, Sweeney is crying over Anthony's body, not his wife's body.

Everyone says it's his wife's body though. What??

I don't know about the old lady but he never killed Anthony

the lady in the street that sings about mrs lovetts being a witch. it was her wife, she lost her mind tried to poison herself but she didnt die. shes the one that says "dont i know you?" right before he slits her throat. anthony was getting a ride for him and joanna. those two didnt die
