Though passengers boarded at Cherbourg, the Titanic never actually called at the port.  The ship was far too large for the port, and passengers were ferried out on tender ships.  the only port it actually  called IN at between Southampton and sinking was Queenstown (aka Cobh), County Cork, Ireland.
