What was the answer of Prophet Muhammad (s) when asked about the "SOUL"?

Answer is Sura Yasin

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ الْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ {QURAN 36-36}

Quran 36:36] Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things from  earth dust, as well as their Nafs (soul) and (other) things of which they have no knowledge (Spirit).

We are made of three things. Dust(material)-Soul (nafs), Spirit (rooh)

Allah said ONLY NAFS will die.

For 1400 yrs people thought that our body will die and finish. Now science proved Material never dies. It changes positions. Scientist tried to destry an Atom but they got Atom Bomb but if we collect all the energy created by splitting an atom, we can recreate that Atom again.

Spirit (rooh) never dies.

It is the Soul which is connection between Rooh and Body, which dies.

Soul creates emotions. Good emotions and bad emotions.

spirit creates spirituality which tries to bring us towards good emotions.

Soul is the cause of our bad actions.

Allah says that HE bought souls of certain people and the price ALLAH paid for souls of good people is HIS Redha (his acceptance). It means acceptance of those people is acceptance of Allah and rejection of those people is rejection of ALLAH.

وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الرُّوحِ قُلِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي وَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن الْعِلْمِ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً

And they ask thee concerning the soul. Say, 'The soul has been created by the command of my Lord; and of the knowledge thereof you have been given but a little. (17:85)

17:85. They ask thee concerning the Spirit (of inspiration). Say: "The Spirit (cometh) by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)"
