    * George Foster played LF until he was released in August 1986 for being a horse's ***, and during his tenure he was as useful as a kidney stone.

    The lineup varied a little from '85 to '89 until they traded Nails for another kidney stone, Juan Samuel.

    By the way, I always loved the Yankees lineup from the '80's as well.
