  1. The final day of the 2005 Ashes series - what scenes.

  2. Aust v WI, MCG, '92-'92, Warne-The Arrival. Richardson with a flipper, WI collapse, Legend begins. 7/52. Brought a tear to the eye reminded me of Benaud many years prior.

Eng v WI, Lord's, '84. WI set 342 on a tricky pitch atfer Botham took 8/103. Grennidge scythed 214* and Eng were broken.

Aust v Eng, MCG, '98-'99, Eng won narrowly after Headley cut through Aust. Mullaly and his batting were vital. Waugh marooned on 30*. Last session of 3 hours.

Thses are the best three matches I have attended, all on the last day and the first two every day. Everyone's fav of Ind v Aust '01 is the best i've heard without being there.

  3. The best match I have seen was the Cricket WorldCup of 1983, which was won by India who were considered as under dogs.  It was a most creditable performance by India to defend a small score against mighty and 2 times Champions, West Indies and win the World Cup againswt all odds.

  4. Its between India and australia, finals of CB-series,in which India won.

  5. Zimbabwe against Bengladesh, because it was the best in being the boring match.

Lmao, lol, Rolmao, true though. ooooooooohyeaaaaaaah.

  6. It was just a game at my school oval to celebrate the opening of the new oval and lots of famous cricketers came as it was named for a cricketer from the old days.it was a fab chance to see those players.

  7. india vs pakistan - Dhaka cup, Bangaladesh final..

  8. bangladesh vs india 2nd ODI 2004, the place erupted when bangladesh won.

  9. Its hard because i'm jinxed.  I'm a Hampshire fan and despite the relative success we have been having in recent years i have never seen them win (been to about 20 matches so far). Best match i have actually been to was a 20-20 match between Hampshire and Kent, last year.  Kent had hit a decent 153 - 6 in their innings and Hampshire had batted superbly to make it to 153-6 with one ball left.  Needing just a single off the final ball and with me anticipating witnissing a Hampshire victory at last the fielders surrounded the batsman who duly lifted it the final ball over the fielders only for it to hang in the air just long enough for the one fielder on the boundary to make a diving catch to save a draw for Kent and to leave me slightly disappointed yet again.   But it was a great game despite this.

  10. oh i must say it is very close to choose between these two games i saw from the stands . 1st - ind vs pak test 1999-- india lost from a winnin position. Sachin was infact m.o.m but dint collect the prize, as he felt he could hv won the game for india. Saqlain Mushtaq's brilliant spell helpin them to win by 12 runs !! pak get a standing ovation from the madras crowd ![rare] but india go on and defeat pak in Delhi wher kumble picks 10 on ten in a test ! =)

2nd -- ind vs aus test 2001- calcutta this test remains unforgettable for many reasons ! ganguly vs waugh what great leadership. Both captains showed max aggression. ind already lost the mumbai test. and aus managed yet another big innings thx to waugh and gillespie who helped wit the bat this time !

indian batting collapsed in the 1st innings. which meant they had to follow on ! from ther on it was a resurgence unexpected ,,,, unbelievable !

VVS & WALL a.k.a Dravid den put up a fight, laxman scores 281 after dravid is dismissed for a well made 180 ! they post a mammoth 627, india get lead from aus ! and when they return to the crease , the bad boy harbhajan does magic ! he picks a hattrick  - the first for ind in a test match ! the aussies bundled out tamely for 212 ! what a comeback ! ind win by 171 runs, they level series and go on to win it in madras !

theres no doubt in both games i could not move an inch, it was like a dream.. one brought tears of pain wher other was as sweet as honey.. victory & glory !

i think the calcutta test in 2001 many would say is the top pick, so may it be.. but the madras test was a memorable one too !Boy, no wonder test cricket is the real test of cricket !
