What was the best movie adapted from a video game ever made?

In my opinion, most video game movies are always terrible adaptation. Super Mario Bros makes a good example of a bad video game adaptation. The original video game of Resident Evil is nothing like the film adaptation. So, tell me what you think is the best video game movie ever made.

If you haven't played the game you can still enjoy the movie but it's also ties in with the game

also Doom wasn't the worst although it wasn't great.

I heard silent hill was a really good game/movie. I saw the movie but never played the game. I almost got a divorce when Halo first came out. I really liked resident evil.

agreed...double dragon was pretty bad, street fighter was terrible, mortal kombat was okay. okay, this question was probably the toughest question ever. there are no good movie adaptions.
