  1. Oddly enough..in the South Bend Regional Airport..a tiny podunk airport for breakfast.  Way early in the morning, the waitress said, how long before your flight and I said about an hour..she said..have a seat and i'll make you whatever you want.  She sat down and ate breakfast with me.  I gave her a $20 tip and she gave me a bug hug!

  2. To be honest, I couldn't put my finger on THE BEST serving experience I've ever had. I find that I get good service at 99% of the places I go. I think that it's typically fussy and picky people who have negative dining experiences.

Basically, I go out to eat to enjoy good food, drinks, and company. If the server allows me to do that, then great!

  3. The best food and the best service I have ever had was at The French Laundry in Yountville, California. it has been named the best restaurant in the world before and nothing compares with it. I do the tasting menu and it takes at least 4 hours to eat the whole meal.

  4. I went to a Checkers (Rally's for you west coasters) and bought a $5 combo.  I went back out to my car and found a wad of 20's rolled up.  No...I didn't turn them in.

  5. went to the grease spoon up near watertown once.  the service was great considering how busy it was and they had the best burgers i've ever had.  i wish i could remember the name of the place.  also for being a grease spoon it was unbelievably clean.

  6. i went to pf changs with my gf once and the waitress was just on top of things (the waitress is my neighbor as well) and she brought us out stuff that we didnt even ask for just because she knew me... the place was also packed and there was a wait but not for me because they know me! and after we finished our food she gave us more of the same food togo!
