What was the best vacation you have ever had?

Where was it? Who went? What made it so special?

My wife and I spent three weeks in Europe about 10 years ago.   Started in Rome, then Florence, then Venice, then Switzerland, then Paris, then London.  Taking the train and seeing the sights I'd never seen before were great. We've since been back twice.

I went on a road trip in Europe, and boy you really don't experience much unless you're with the locals, which is certainly what we did. It all started in Trier, Germany, where my husband was currently living near (Air Force) and we took off to Berlin for New Years, which was CRAZY, but so awesome. We stayed in a fancy hotel which was beautiful. I don't remember the name. From there, we drove into the Czech Republic and stayed in Prague. I have a lot of stories from Prague. We then drove to Switzerland and stayed in Interlaken to snowboard the Swiss Alps! It was so beautiful. We drove back to Germany from there =) That was all with my husband, his cousin, his aunt, and his dad.

Oh and my favorite part of the trip was the black light theatre in Prague, which was hilarious, even though it wasn't supposed to be. We all made a scene by laughing so loud, but It's a moment I'll never forget!
