  1. They used the term "r****d" extensively. Some groups protested that.

  2. They over-used the whole "r****d" thing in a couple scenes and also poked fun at a stereotypical black man attitude. Some people just over think these things too much. It was a really funny movie and people shouldn't take those jokes so seriously.

  3. one reason was because their excessive use of the word "r****d" and the NDSS is boycotting the movie because they found it really offensive.

Also some people thought it was racist how Robert Downey Jr played a black man for the movie. Some people said they felt like the directors were trying to say a black person wasn't good enough for the role.

and Brandon T. Jackson's name wasn't said during the previews, so some people thought they were being racist for that also.....?

I just think it's because the other actors are more established than him, not in a bad way or anything

i don't know.. some people really go overboard about these things

I mean, have you seen the movie "White Chicks" ?

GREAT movie and i'm pretty sure nobody was offended by it

  4. It was Robert Downey Jr.'s character, for the part he plays he gets surgery to become a black man and people are bashing it because of racial slurs and things like that.

Also, Ben Stiller's character refers to those who are mentally challenged as "retards" and a lot of people have been boycotting it for these reasons. I am not sure if any of it has to do with veterans of Vietnam feeling slandered against as well.

Lots think it's just ridiculous and that the film meant no offense, but was only comedy while others are strongly against it. I guess you just have to judge for yourself !! :)

  5. im not sure i got so uninterested in it

so i left like after the first 5 mins and i went to go see pineapple express

    which wass sooo much better

but i guess it was that white dude pretending to be a black dude

that offended people but you they shouldn't get offended because its just acting its not like they mean everything they say or do

  6. in the movie someone pays out ben stiller and calls him a r****d and starts saying why he's a r****d. its meant to be directed just at ben's character but some people think that it was aimed at retards in general.
