What was the deal with norm macdonald on the Saget roast?

He was lame on purpose. Thats what was so funny about it. Some people thought it was terrible, but if you can appreciate his style you would think it was hilarious

The genuis was in his intentional bombing. If yot watched, you saw that people began to slowly realize and norm ended up getting some of the biggest laughs of the night.

If you don't know anything about Norm Macdonald then i'd say you know very little of comedy in general. This was a classic Norm style performance. Hilarious!

i think he showed up drunk. or someone clubbed him and did irreparable brain damage.

he wasnt even witty or timed.

I thought it was hilarious!  It took awhile for everybody to catch on, but he killed once they did.
