The US had millions of troops go in and out of Vietnam and spent over 120 billion on the war. It had 58,000 killed and 150,000 wounded. It ended up flying over 5 million sorties of all kinds and dropping over 12 million gallons of herbicide ( Agent Orange) destroying 13% of South Vietnamese land, and killing 2-5 million civilians by bombing and its consequences.
