I'll never forget mine- cute little border collie mix.

Smart as a whip, and sweet as sugar.

  5. You make me feel so bad.....it wasn't mine but it was the neighbors.I wanted to play with him and I was so young I didn't know any better.I let him off his leash and he just bolted towards the road.He got hit by a red truck. He was a little chihuahua that I KILLED! I felt miserable since then...

  6. Yes, I was about 15 and my mother was raising Poodles. One was dropped by my baby brother and had some brain damage. A 15 year old doesn't want to give up easy tho. I kept hoping that she would get better. She couldn't walk without leaning against something, she couldn't p**p or urinate without getting it all over herself. My mother kept trying to talk me into putting her down and I wouldn't hear of it. Finally she came up with a plan I could live with. She said she had someone who wanted the dog. Someone who swore to me she would take care of my dog as well as I was. I was very tired of cleaning the poor little thing and so I let her go.

I had my suspicions but wouldn't face them. I know now that the lady must have taken my dog straight to the vet and had her put down. Sometimes, I wish I knew but I'm not sure that I could face it even now. I'm 54 now. Sylvia

  7. A cocker spaniel we called Poncho. He tried to run across a busy highway and was killed by a truck. My brothers and I were devastated.

  8. LMAO @ w000w

  9. It was a little russian tortoise. I was around 3, so not really mine in care. As horrible as it was, by grandfather caught it for me, so it was originally wild, which makes me feel awful. And of course my family did not take proper care of it, no UV lighting, or balanced diet. We used to take it out to walk around in the park. Ironically enough, it ended up "running away" in one of these ventures. I guess we just lost track of it? But it is better off back in the wild, I just hope it was able to survive for a decent time.

  12. my dog Scruffy. he was short and tried to mount our other dog who was twice his height lol. he had a habit of eating small animals (mainly snakes) and won alot of fights with the neighbor dogs. one time we thought he was rabid but his mouth was only foaming because he ate a frog. he survived being hit by a car 3 times and died at the age of 15 due to natural causes.
