What was the first thing you bought your baby?

When did you buy your first baby item and what was it?

With my daughter, we bought her a blanket with her name on it.

With my son, we bought him a a take home outfit.

when, as soon as we found out what we where naming her

and as soon as we found out we were having a boy.

The first things that my husband and I bought for our baby were diapers, wipes, and bath things.  We were told by the doctor that the baby may come early and we hadn't had a baby shower yet so we didn't have anything. I ended up being induced a couple of weeks later.

Once I found out the s*x I bought a carseat and Stroller set in pink!

I don't remember when I bought it, but I remember I bought some hats from Wal-Mart. Sadly I didn't know what I was doing. I bought Premie hats and they didn't fit him when he finally came out.

A little pair of newborn-sized slippers shaped like fuzzy puppies. I bought them two months before we conceived. :)

i bought a little yellow outfit... i soo hoped i was having a boy. but nope not soo lucky girl #3 on the way as long as shes healthy i am great!!

I believe it was a little pair of socks and a romper with "Daddy's Little Girl" on it, which I bought and gave to her daddy. This would have been when i was about 7 weeks pregnant with our daughter around 3 years ago : )  And yes, I knew she was a girl as soon as I found out I was pregnant

I bought my daughter a green summer dress.  I got it last year when i was about 4 months pregnant, before I even knew she was a girl (I had a feeling that she was a girl.) I got it so it would fit her this summer, and thats what she got her 6 month pictures taken in a few months ago.

haha, actually a couple of months before i concieved i bought a stuffed animal that sings a lullaby. and i'm about 4 weeks or so now. :]

First thing I bought was a beige and pink cute dress for my little girl... I had such a high risk pregnancy my first trimester that I wasn't in the mood of purchasing things for her. (I didn't know if my pregnancy was going to be viable) ... It wasn't until I found the gender of my girl that I felt very optimistic about my pregnancy!

I bought my son his first "Pooh" bear when I was 6 months pregnant and he is 9 years old now. He still sleeps with it!

A book to read to him in the womb.  Every night I'd read either Curious George or Elmo to him.

The first thing i bought (not including prenatal pills, books or maternity clothes) for my baby girl was a carseat and stroller i just had to have, and I was in my 2nd Trimester.

A Green Bay Packers onesie.  It was supposed to be for it's hospital pictures.  It ended up being a girl, but she still rocked her daddy's favorite team in her pictures!
