  4. in between tears:

oh my god, she is perfect.

    then:

are babies supposed to have that much hair?

  5. I don't do well with meds and when I first work up, went to ICU, I threw up right there is the room and fainted!!

I had a hard time believing that she was my daughter bc I wondered how I would ever have something that beautiful looking and I keep asking my spouse bc she was so serene and quiet.

(didn't last tho, the minute she could walk and talk she was outta here)

  6. I cried and said "Shes so beautiful"

  7. With my daughter it was  'Is she ok?'

With my second child - a son - it was 'why isn't he crying?'

With my third - another son - it was 'your joking'.

With my third, my daughter wanted a sister and after explaining to her 4 year old self that she couldn't choose - I'm managed to almost convince myself I was having a girl.  When the midwife said he was a boy - I said that and she looked at me like I was a monster!!  I was dead pleased to have a boy - it was purely for my daughters benefit!!!!

  8. After i cried i asked if "it" was a boy or a girl.

  9. "Is she ok?" (she wasn't crying or moving at first) and then I said her name. I wasn't all that talkative after labour!

  10. I don't know yet. I'm thinking....

Probably I will say: Thank you GOD. And then ask them is it a BOY or a GIRL? Is my baby healthy and complete??

    That's all.

  11. Thank God that's over! Is everything ok! And then we cried!

  12. For me if she was okay and then I repeatedly said I got my girl over and over again. I told everyone it didn't matter and it really didn't but I guess I really wanted a girl!

  13. O Gawd, Put it back in!

  14. I said is he ok, and then I told my husband to go take his picture.

  15. I don't remember exactly what I said.  However, my husband claims that I shouted, "give me my baby,"  before she 'hit the mat.'  The first thing I remember is looking at her feet and expressing how big they were!

  16. I had a C-section and I keep asking My Mom have they pulled her out yet??? And Finally I heard my Mom say "Here she is"! But, I didnt hear her cry right away...Well finally I heard that sweet little cry and I started crying and I said" I want to see her"!

  17. "He's out! Im done!"

    "Give him to ME!"

he has meconium, the rushed him into a room, and when they gave him to me i said "his eyes are so dark " and his hair was BLACK it has lightened quite a bit

  18. I whispered (because I didn't have enough energy to even talk) "is he ok?" He wasn't crying, and they didn't even show him to me. They took him straight over and gave him oxygen, and then I heard him cry - the most beautiful sound in the world. My next words were "let me see him!"

  19. I can't remember exactly what I said, but I was thinking,"he doesn't look too weird".  And I mean that in the best way possible.  I was expecting a squishy-faced, red-bodied bald baby and he was just so perfect.  I think I just made some strange noises.

  20. I asked my husband if she was ok, and then when I finally saw her, I said, "Oh my GOD she looks just like you", meaning my husband... lol

  21. I had my daughter 3 months eirly.  She was 1.1lbs and 11 inches long.  When she came out I ask my husband if she was ok because she wasnt crying.  They were weeling her away and they showed her to me.  All I could see was a little pink hat.  I couldnt really see her she was so small. All I did was cry. I had to wait a noth 15 hours to see her for the first time.
