The first Rock'n,Roll song/record was most probably "Rocket 88" by Jackie Brenston in 1951. Brenston was a member of Ike Turner's Kings of Rhythm and , as Ike attested in 2000, "It was my record, they just didn't put my name on it".

The first song I can think of is "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley and His Comets--came out in the early '50's.
