  1. i think the first commercial unit to see use outside the laboratory was the RCA TK1 monoscope.  The image was engraved internally and scanned electronically. It was used to generate television images without the need for lights and actors so as to test out the rest of the system, and was especially useful in adjusting monitors (TV sets) for proper display geometry.

  3. In 1998, Sony accidently sold 700,000 camcorders that had the technology to see through people's clothes.

    I think that one might be the best.
