  1. Ummmmm very good question!!!!!!! I will have to look that up sometime!!! lol

  2. William Morgan invented the game of volleyball in 1895 for businessmen as a way for them to relax after a long day. I learned this in a sports history class...yes, we have one at our school.

  3. I think is long ago during early ages.

  4. idk;

  5. 7th grade in middle school. I fell in love with volleyball after that!

  6. Our High School started a Men's Volleyball team. It was awesome. The girls had been the only team, so to play with the men meant a lot.

    After I joined the Army, I was part of a US Military International Team. We took the championship in 2001.

  7. The game was invented in 1895 at the Holyoke, Massachusetts YMCA. The first actual game was probably played in the first few days while William Morgan and others figured out the rules of the initial game. There is documentation of an official team representing the Holyoke YMCA but no documentation of games played or a win-loss record. it is believed that at that time, YMCAs would play against each other in both basketball and volleyball.

    Within 5 years the YMCA expanded internationally to spread Christianity, because of this volleyball did too. So who knows, I'm sure that many games were played in those 5 years to solidify the sport enough to extend beyond this nations borders.
