  1. because of ganguly.

  2. they  lost bcoz of bad captaincy could not keep their batting order going smooth...no patnership was going their way.....and did not have luck it is very very important.....

  3. Just a series of bad luck.

And Ganguly is never lucky; he works hard for success.

    First, Shoaib's problems.

    Then Chris Gayle was sick

    Ponting did not perform

Mc Cullum did wonderfully for 1 match

Gul gave away runs, more than take wickets

Agarkar gave away too many runs too

It started off so well. It may be some managerial problems as well.

  4. simply lack of co-ordinance and missing key players like ... pointing & macmillan

  5. I think Luck did'nt favour their side. It rained in one of the match and some of them were really close one.

  6. Brendun mc cullum gone

    R ponting gone

    Unfit Shoaib Akhtar

    ishant sharma not performed

Salman butt was not given chance

    hafeez not performed

  7. bad luck. nothing else . the best player was in it but ):

  8. 1) Their batting side never fired...(expect in the first match...all thanks to Brendon)

    2) Players like Chris Gayle & Brendon McCullum had to leave.

    3) Players like Ponting & Hafeez never performed well

  9. simply srk!

  10. KKR began to rest on their laurels long before they should have. Ganguly is not T20. He bats well when it doesn't matter and fails miserably when it does. His captaincy is suspect. KKR should regroup, have Shoaib as its Captain, and let him pick a side with the help of the backup team. Shoaib has so much personality, talks very well, and the fire in his belly and the lust for the game have not diminished one bit. There's a wonderful feeling of reassurance when Shoaib is around.

Pointless having a swipe at SRK from those who do. SRK is the main worldwide attraction of KKR coupled with Shoaib. They are the breath of fresh air which is much needed in Calcutta.

  11. Due to SRK arrogant behaviour. u are star in ur home not for these cricketers. One has to be patient always when one is at the top. Its not always win  and  only win and when defaet comes it is very horrible. When he is angry SRK nose becomes too wide thah one can easily judge something happened to him.To we Ganguly is grt not SRK. We were with KKR only for Ganguly not SRK. When a person laughs dearly and his team is loosing than one can understand what type he is. When MIS beat KKR he was just enjoying why? And when other teams beat KKR he was fuming Why?

  12. here is the reason

  13. i think u asked  ''What was the reason for the failure of kolkata knight riders in IPL?''.....................i think its all bad luck.......its better players like chris gayle, ricky ponting n mc cullam...........were out for most of the matches.............two of their matches were spoiled by rain................one of which was decided by D/L method and one declared a tie..................they lost points ''cause of this

  14. HEY I WILL TELL U THE REAL TRUTH'S AND THOSE R FOLLOWS:

1.Ganguly should have not been the captain

2.SRK's too much back up for the team

3.Eden gardens wicket not favouring KKR,definetely blame it on curators

4.who is joy battacharya and tell me how could he work with john buchanan

5.ofcourse the exit of MCCULLUM AND PONTING,INJURED GAYLE AND SHOAIB also hit KKR

  15. Lack of commitment and team coordination.

  16. The failure of Kolkata Knight Riders was due to collective failure of their batsmen and bowlers.  The performance of their batsmen and bowlers has been very inconsistent throughout the tournament and not a single player has performed to his potential consistently.

  17. It was not just a single factor which brought about the collapse of KKR. There were many factors. KKR was the most hyped team in IPL. It was SRK who promoted this hype, and at the start of the tournament, he seemed to be confident about winning. But SRK didn't realize that he hasn't bought many good players to ensure success of his team. The big names like Ponting, McCullum, Gayle, and Akhtar, were only on papers, and these players  got almost no opportunity to put their skill and experience into use for the benefit of the team. KKR's fate relied on a bunch of inexperienced, and inconsistent youngsters, who ultimately failed to rise to the occassion.

Skipper Sourav Ganguly also was a bit overconfident, and he made no proper strategies, and wasn't bothered about game planning. Though it wasn't entirely dada's fault, these factors were partly contributed to KKR's downfall. And yes, we are indeed by KKR for the sake of our dada, and not SRK, who has almost no knowledge of cricket.

Luck didn't favour KKR this time. In their most crucial match, CSK was declared the winners by D/L method. Had there been a complete 20 over game, perhaps, the outcome could have been different. The match with Delhi was abandoned due to rain. The standard of batting and fielding has also been far from being upto the mark. When all such factors join hands, it's but natural that the team would fail.
