My happiest moment was 6 years ago when I met Kyle, the love of my life. He understood me more than anything and the happiest other moments in my life were laying on the roof under the stars with him. All this time....

A little less than one month ago, Kyle died.

Another happiest moment though, was when I was robbed at gunpoint and the man pulled the trigger. I call it my happiest moment because the gun was stuck- and I survived. Yeah, I turned the tables. Surviving has got to be the greatest feeling in the world.

The moment I first realized I was in love with someone.

Which was instantaneously replaced by depression as I realized they had already fallen in love with my best friend.

it's difficult to think of something like the "happiest moment in my life". but everytime my mom and i are having good conversation over the phone (without the typical drama and yells), i'm sort of happy.

I guess I have been lucky since there have been a few.

I am happy when there is life, such as babies being born, or news that a friend and spouse are pregnant, when seeds that I have planted sprouted, or the rose twig I jammed in the soil popped its first leaf....

These things make me feel on top of the world. I love mother nature, plants, puppies, fish (guppies too) horses, piglets, humans and when they are breathing and well, I feel like the world is well and my happiness meter is up a big gigantic notch.
