No single game proves this point better than the Pistons-Nuggets matchup on December 13, 1983, when the two teams played the highest-scoring game in NBA history.

And six Nuggets reached double-figures: Kiki Vandeweghe (51), Alex English (47), Dan Issel (28), Mike Evans (16), Richard Anderson (13), and Danny Schayes (11).

The teams shot a combined 142-for-251 (.566) from the field.
