  1. All of my frights on investigations have involved either spiders or structurally unsound staircases.

  2. getting a fistful of fingers stuffed up my **** while being "investigated" by heathrow customs officers.

    nice ;)

  3. Never investigate without the power of the Holy Spirit then no fright.

  4. Just about a month ago I was investigating in the immediate area around our house.  There is a "Tremendous" amount of constant activity here, that I just couldn't ignore.

Besides the EVPs I have gotten, there were a few things that made me freeze.

    1.  At one point, my face felt like it was frozen, literally.  It was ice cold to the touch.  This in 80 degree weather.

    2.  I was standing close to a  area where we had seen a full bodied shadow person.  In my mind I was thinking I wanted to go up to the bushes.  At that same point there was what sounded like a branch hitting a tree & falling.  Well, there was nothing to be seen of what made that sound.  This is a seasonal area, so people only come out during holiday weekends & there are only about 7 families that actually live in our area.

    3.  Another moment towards the end I all of a sudden felt completely drained.  It was almost as if my energy had been sucked right out of my body.  That out of all, was the most frightening of all.  I felt like I had NO control of my body.  I was down for about 2 days.  BTW, before someone says I was just sick.  The next day I went to the doctor & was poked, proded & had blood drawn for testing.  The test results come back neg.  This baffled the doctor & all he could do is tell me to rest.

  5. I was investigating a funeral home by myself, it was around 10 pm and nobody was there except for me. It was nearly pitch black and was walking around with my thermal imaging camera so I could see any ghosts. Then I felt something tug at the back of my shirt. I stood motionless and just froze there. A ghost had sneaked up behind me. Then all of a sudden I was given the biggest wedgie of my life. I was pulled up to my tiptoes and my underwear was yanked half way out of my pants. I waddled out of there as fast as I could. To this day I never wear underwear when I'm on an investigation.

  6. Once I did an investigation in a spa/hair salon that was located in a building that was over a hundred years old.

The manager of the building wanted to go with me even though she was petrified.

Everything was going along fine till we got to the basement.

Picture this - its over a hundred year old building, so the walls were made out of limestone, a dirt floor, and no windows. But lots of spider webs and junk lying around and some loose hanging bulbs for lighting.

When we got to the very back there was a small cellar. We creep inside. (me worried about getting a spider in my hair, her worried about a ghost)

    Then the lights went out.

She let out a scream so loud you would think someone was killing her. Shortly later the lights came back on.

It turns out another staff not realizing anyone was down there had flicked the switch and shut the door. I had a good laugh about it, but I am pretty sure to this day, the manager never goes down there without telling every single person in the building first - and threatens their job if they even THINK of pulling anything on her again.

    :)

Oh, and I agree with PD - some staircases are VERY scary. :)
