  2. As a child of the 70's, I remember playing Twister (is that really a board game?) and Clue.

    Several years later, the big things were Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit, but those might have been early 80's---can't remember for sure.

    So many people were getting into the early arcade and video games (Atari, etc.) that there really wasn't as much emphasis on board games.

    Rubix Cube and Simon (electronic memory game) were also very popular along in there somewhere.
