  1. Much the same as a fireman who starts fires to stage his hero act, the scientist involved was working on what he believed to be the antidote for anthrax.

The answer to whether or not we should fear for our or our families lives, no. This was an isolated case and really not related to any commonly accepted definition of terrorism.

  2. No reason not to believe that the guy had mental issues and an imperfect system allowed him access to anthrax after 2000.

And no, That is a bogus article, there are not thousands of scientists with access to the type of biohazards Ivins mailed out.

  3. Dr. Ivins didn't send anthrax to anyone. He is just a convenient patsy for the incompetent FBI to claim the case is closed. The FBI has a history of persecuting innocent persons.Remember Richard Jewel and the Olympic park bombing in Atlanta? These guys at the FBI are so stupid they can't solve a crime. All they can do is frame some innocent person.Early in the investigation the FBI learned anthrax had been given by the Army to the CIA.The FBI pretended to be upset about this but never ever investigated whether the anthrax in the mail came from the CIA.Anthrax has genetic fingerprints and it is relatively easy to determine its origin.Did the CIA have a motive to mail anthrax? We know now Bush & Cheney ordered the CIA to forge letters and falsify evidence to make the case for war against Saddam. No doubt,no doubt at all the anthrax letters were the first clumsy attempt of the Bush government after the September 11 attacks to force the country into war with Iraq.

  4. to get the patriot act passed asap......Yeah, be a little worried
