When I was a little girl in the early '90s, McDonald's sponsored a Christmas cartoon about a little orphan named Holly who came to a town accidentally after some bulbs blew in a sign, leaving her name lit up. What was this cartoon? I need help, this is driving me nuts.

  1. Okay, you got the story a little messed up. After hours of searching I found what you wanted. It's called The Story of Holly and Ivy."The orphanage near a town called Mill Valley is closing for Christmas break. All the other children have gone to other homes but one child named Ivy has no were to go. They decide that she should go to another orphanage outside the area. Ivy suggests that she could instead go to her "grandma's house" (but there is a problem and that is she has no grandmother but they don't know that). So they board her on a train to go to her 'grandma's'. On the way there the train stops in Mill Valley. There is a huge sign that say's Mill Valley and it is made of lites. When Ivy looks out the window (beacuse of a defect) the sign says I V Y. Ivy takes that as a sign that she really does have a grandma and she lives in Mill Valley." ....... (Note: Holly is a doll ....
