  1. CCD TRV65 1998 made before August, so all June and below are known as unmodified cameras.

All cameras made after August are known as semimodified cameras, you have to use sports mode to make the camera do nightshot in full sunlight.

An infrared filter is needed to filter "in" infrared light, and filter out unwanted light.

It started in Japan in a mens magazine and the word spread rapidly.

Its not only that model, TRV75, 85, 95, 99 but the 95 and 99 do not come with a manufacture date/stamp.

you can find info at the site here:  www.sonyxray.com

  2. What on earth is there a camera like that? If you want to know about sony products, go to sony.com

  3. Pervert.

  4. The year was 1998, but I'm not sure if it was just one camcorder - I think the nightshot feature was available on a number of them.  The TRV65 was one.  Oh, and you "couldn't see through clothes" - the best you could hope for was some vague idea that there was a body under there somewhere.
