What was the name of that old kids show on discovery channel?

back in like 1999-2000ish there was an old kids educational show on discovery channel or history channel where a gecko was at the end of the credits and was going from one corner of the tv screen to another or the gecko was the narrator..........does anyone know what show im talking about........i need to know.
