What was the name of the guy who couldn't swim yet competed in swimming at the Olympics?

He was from Africa, he was black and I don't know how it worked out but he could barely swim and he barely made it to the end of the pool.

It definitely exists because I've seen videos and I've heard it talked about on the news. Happened in a recent one as well.

It was Eric Moussambani, from Equatorial Guinea, in the 2000 Sydney Games.

Do you remember "Eddie the Eagle" in 1988 Winter Olympics?  He was the lone ski jumper from GB.  In a competition where winners and losers are measured by cm, he loss by 60+ meters.  

He was also the darling of the '88 Olympics.
