There used to be a California roller hockey league that would get televised during the summer back around 2000 or 1999. I think it came on ESPN but I am not or sure. I think some of the team names were the Salsa and the Wolf Pack. It was pretty dumb but I was just wondering if anyone knew more about it so I could remember.

Thanks

  1. It was called Roller Hockey International. There is a website:

There used to be one years ago, but this is the best I found.

  2. I know what you're talking about.  I used to watch that sometimes during summer break but I don't remember the name of the league or if it even had a name. I remember one of the players names was Szabo.

Okay, I searched and found a link. It was called Pro Beach Hockey and lasted 3 seasons. It got canceled in 2000 when ESPN stopped sponsoring it.

  3. One of Chris Chelios's brothers (Steve?) was in that league too as I recall
