Andrea Bocelli is perhaps best known for his renditions of "Time to Say Goodbye", a duet with Sarah Brightman. Because Channel 7 isn't broadcast here, I can only say it was most likely that song.

Either that, or another duet they've sung together, "Canto della Terra".
