What was the original capital of Arkansas?

there is a small town in southeast arkansas that claims to be the original capital of arkansas does anyone know if it was little rock all along or was it in a different town?

Little Rock is the original city of the *state* of Arkansas.  However, when Arkansas was first organized as a territory, a town called Arkansas Post was the capital.

well, I once stayed in a small town not far from there called Heber Springs; but I am almost positive that Little Rock was always the capitol. isn't it spelled capitol instead of capital? isn't it an ol instead of an al or am I completely crazy?maybe I am just confused.
