What was the prior name of the Atlantis hotel in the Bahamas?

It was Paradise Island and there were several different hotels that all belonged to Sun International.  There use to be a small airport that was only used by Paradise Island Airlines.

Sun International bought up all the land around and built what you see today.

There was no prior name.  I remember when they were building it and it was called ATLANTIS even then

I didn't think there was one.  I thought it was Atlantis from day one....they just built it like 10 years ago, didn't they?
