  1. Neville, Anna, and Ethan wind up in the basement lab behind the security glass and the infected alpha male is smashing into the plexiglass trying to break through.  Neville hears his daughter's voice saying "look at the butterfly, daddy".  He looks down at the infected female that is strapped to the gurney and he sees that she has a butterfly tattoo.  The infected male makes a mark on the glass that looks like a butterfly and Neville realizes that the male came to get his mate.  He opens the glass and takes the infected female out to the male.  Before releasing her, he takes a sample of her blood because it contains the cure to the virus.  The male takes the female, while Neville sees the photos on the wall of all of the infected people that he had captured and ultimately killed while trying to find the cure.  He realizes that, to the infected people, he must seem like the monster.  The infected leave (taking the infected female with them).  The movie then flashes to Neville, Anna, and Ethan driving away, taking the blood sample with them to find the colony of survivors.

  2. basically, will smith has an idea that the head zombie just wants his girlfriend back, so he opens the doors, rolls out the zombie girl and

brings her back to life/ The head zombie then takes the girl and signals the other zombies to leave, leaving will smith and the other two alive.

It's in the link below if you feel like watching it.
