  2. The one he sang last night- You'll neve walk alone... Is a football song, Liverpool FC.  But the rugby one he sang was  I vow to thee my country if thats the one you mean hun.  Hope that helped :)

  3. He sang “A World In Union”, Based on Gustav Holsts 'Jupiter' from The Planets which is also the tune for the hymn “I Vow To Thee My Country”.

    It was the anthem for this years Rugby World Cup, hence Danni’s comment, to him, hopefully singing it one day at the Millennium  Stadium before a Rugby game, his other passion after singing!

    Hope to see him do that one day!

  8. He sang World in Union a week or two back, which is to the same tune as I Vow To Thee, My Country, based on part of Jupiter from Holst's Planets Suite. World in Union was, I think, first released by Kiri te Kanawa in 1991 as the official song of that year's Rugby World Cup hosted by England.

    As far as You'll Never Walk Alone is concerned, that song is associated with football (soccer) through Liverpool FC, having been adopted by the fans and with the title wrought in iron over the Shankly Gate entrance to Anfield. The words also feature on the club crest.
