I am talking about the music that played when the credits were rolling on Sunday evening (8-24-08). It may have, in fact, been a compilation of songs. So, all details are appreciated.

  1. okay so thanks for the one part of the montage but....what is the song in the beginning??? I'm dying to figure it out I KNOW it's in a movie!!

  2. I was wondering the same thing! I know I've heard it in movies and what-not, but I can't find the name or composer anywhere...

    -Thank you b.alanedwards!

  3. I think it was a combination of Dragonheart and Remember The Titans

  4. You are correct--Dragonheart to begin and Remember the Titans to end.  Also, Shakespeare in Love was used in the montage when Bob Costas was speaking before the credits began.

  5. I recognized part of the song titled "Titans Spirit" that was used in the the film "Remember the Titans"

  6. Sorry that was the WORST closing ceremonies I'd seen in a long while -- even Costas stopped reading the cue cards about the wonder, colors, training etc. -- it was just a mess. David Beckham? Jimmie Page? wtf does Whole Lotta Love sung by a Beyonce wannabe have to do with the OLYMPIC SPIRIT?

Sorry, we'd shut off the TV long before the end, we couldn't take it once Phelps was doing a meaningless interview for taping in London, like that.. it all was TOO contrived, too phoney, and too predictable (and not even NEAR what they did, for Openers).
