1. 1972 Dolphins (17-0)

There are plenty of reasons why the Dolphins shouldn't be on this list (weak schedule, lack of playoff dominance) but the fact that no team has been able to manage a perfect season before or since highlights the magnitude of the accomplishment.

2. 1994 49ers (16-3)

The most dominant team I have ever seen. They put up an average of 44 points in their three playoff wins.

3. 1985 Bears (18-1)

On the other side of the coin, the Bears defense allowed 10 points total in the playoffs. Two shutouts and a 46-10 Super Bowl romp.
