I could not find a reporting station in Salisbury, but one about nine miles to the northwest.  The total rainfall recorded there in 1986 was 28.61 inches.  The individual monthly totals are listed below:

I tried to look this up for you, I am a meteorologist and have access to the information available, but this information is not available.

The problem is that we can not observe rainfall, or temperature for that matter, at every landfill from NYC to LA.  Even the info for Greensboro, NC was hard to get.  If you write me, I could get the 1986 rainfall for Greensboro, Raleigh, or Durham.  But it would take effort, and sometimes I wonder if the questions on here are serious, legitimate ones.

I'd try my hardest to get this info for you.
