What was the worst smack you got when you were younger?

One of my dads mates got really angry at me one day when we were at their house, he'd told me and my bro to pick a video (yes video) to watch while he and my parents went out in the garden to talk.

So I pick up this video that says 'Sugar & Candy' on the label, just a black video cassette with the label. I pop it in the Betamax and clunked the big 'play' switch down. Anyway you guessed it...yep it was a nasty porno he had left lying around, well or course me and my bro being 10 & 12 yrs old fell about laughing more out of sheer embarrassment then anything else, he heard the tape playing and came dashing in to the room. Switched it off and lamped me one right across my temple, he almost knocked me clean out! I had to go to hospital for concussion, but not before my dad had beat the c**p out of his ***! That was the worst and only time I was ever hit by an adult!

My parents NEVER hit us and we turned out just fine.

The guy also was charged with assault and ended up doing 3 months for assault on a minor.

I stuck two fingers up at my mum when she was driving off in the car (big mistake) she seen me do it through the rear view and reversed back. I had a bright red hand print on my face for hours.

I never did it again!

I got the slipper in primary school for telling my teacher to "sod off"!  I was only about 7 and I think I heard my older sister saying it and copied her.  I do remember that my bum stung so much it hurt to sit down for the rest of the day.  When I told my Mum she said it served me right.  She was right, too.  I never did it again!  If that happened now the parents would sue the school and the teacher would be arrested for abuse!

Not for severity but for the injustice!

We group of us were caught by the local bobby, as we crawled out of a hole in a hedge of the local Rectory orchard.

As each of us came through the gap, he administered a slap to everyone's legs and consfiscated the apples we had in pockets, down shirt fronts, etc.

I went home to my Dad complaining of "police brutality" and got a real good hiding from him!!

Not sure if that one was for nicking apples or for getting caught and letting down the Family name!

My headmistress smacked me with her shoe once. I didn't want to wear a coat out on the playground. I defied and defied my teacher until I got sent to the headmistress.

I look back now and think how funny it was. She was a Nun... Some people pay for that sort of treatment now! ;-P

i refused to go to kindergarden when i was 3-4 years old and my dad put me on his knee and spanked me so hard the next day my bum was black and blue and i couldnt sit on it. ill never forget that i would NEVER do that to my kids!

I was sitting in the passenger seat of the car and I think I must have sworn at my Mum or something.  Anyway she lashed out and caught me in the face and gave me a nosebleed.

My father reckoned I wasn't grateful enough for a birthday present that he and my mum had given me, so he whacked me so hard across the head, I flew across the gravel driveway. The stones ripped the side of my face open as I fell. I was about eight years old but far from putting him off, my dad carried on hitting me until I was about 15. One day when he attacked me as usual, I just "snapped" and started hitting him back. He laughed at me and said it was like flea bites to him, but at least he never tried hitting me again!

i was at my aunties i'm not sure how old i was but i was very young 4/5 maybe? anyway my auntie put on a video for us to watch and i sat between my brother and cousin, i ended up wetting myself much to my auntie's disgust so she took me up to the spare room and gave me the beating of a lifetime! i was punched, scratched, pinched, bitten and thrown around the room by my hair, then she calmly told me i was a bad girl and if i told my mum then she would do the same, so later on mum came to pick us up and i sat quietly eating my dinner. when mum put me in the bath that night she saw all my cuts and bruises and i told her everything, the next thing i no my other auntie (mums sister) was watching us and mum came back a while later looking flustered i don't exactly no what she did but my bad auntie (dads sister) has never looked after me since and she still has problems with her knee that was fine before my "telling off" little did i no then that my mum would do the same just not to me! =D

Depends on your definition of worst! The one I remember most vividly was @ a theme park with my dad, age 6, I asked for no tomato in my sandwich & he said I had to eat it so I dropped it under the table when he wasn't looking. Sadly, he left something on the table & when he turned back to get it he saw the tomato. Got a big wallop on the butt in the middle of the busy eatery! :(

Had lots of smacks & a few wooden spoon ones.

The one that made me feel worst was at about 14 or 15 was backchatting Mum & she slapped me on the arm, so I hit her back! *cringe* so she slapped me in the face.

we were at my grandmothers house and as we were eating, I for a moment ate with my mouth open..

Grandma took her hand/arm and swung me and the food onto the floor. Told me if I was going to eat like I dog I could eat on the floor with them..

My dad hit me so hard that I had his hand imprinted on my leg for a whole week. This was because I wanted to put my bread in the toaster - my mum wouldn't let me and kept saying it was new bread and I asked why not and she wouldn't tell me, so then the violence started as usual, as they never did like answering my questions.

I was 15, so it was way out of order.  I left soon after I was old enough to get a job.

It was called 'a good walloping' in those days, but I think my parents were the only people who thought it was good.

I was about 10 or 11. I bullied another kid that was younger than me. Anyways when my mom found out she went berserk. She slapped me across the face and then grabbed my orange plastic boomerang and whipped me through the apartment. I do think I deserved the spanking and if my kid did something similar to that I would give him/her a good spanking as well. However I do not agree with the slap across the face.Oh and by the way I never bullied anyone again.

Reasonable force is okay, a good belting is different.

Psychological discipline (ie destroying a personal possession) can actually scar more than a spanking and then its over.   My family learnt to teach us about respect and in the end, spanking wasn't so necessary.
