  1. Huh.. the worst thing that happened to me in an airport, I would have to say going to work.

  2. The most recent time I flew, we had back luck after bad luck.  My family and I were flying from L.A to the east coast and it was supposed to leave at 12:10 p.m.  Well, 11:50 came, then 12:00, then 12:15. We kept checking the monitors but they still kept saying our flight was on time.  Around 12:30, our flight number was then taken off the monitors.

The gate attendant finally came on and said it would be delayed until at least 1:30. Great.  Well, around 1:15, he announced over the loud speaker, "Well, your flight is on the ground," whew......, "in Seattle." Huh?! Great....

Finally, the flight gets there and we get on the plane.  However, once everyone is seated, we don't pull back from the gate.  The pilot comes over the loudspeaker and says, "Well folks, we'll be on our way shortly.  We are just making a call because this plane had a mechanical problem earlier today and we want to make sure they signed all the paperwork that its o.k."     I already hate to fly...now you tell me this plane has mechanical issues? Ugh.

  3. I had a trip from NYC to Florida and I had a kid kicking my seat on both flights. It was horrible. And to top all of the kicking, he cried the whole flight. From gate to gate.

  4. lost my luggage and everything in them

  5. I flew from San Francisco to L.A., then on to Australia last year. When I got off the plane in LA, I lost my passport. No passport, no flight to Australia. They checked the plane 3 times as it flew back to San Francisco then back to LA. Third time was a charm. it had fallen out and got stuck between the seats. Luckily I had a very long wait for my flight to Australia. Funny thing about it was my passport happened to fly to LA on our original flight. You see we got at the airport early, and they asked us if we wanted a earlier flight and so we took that one. I guess my passport did not want an earlier flight. HA Ha!.
