What was this all about?

I answred a qustion and yahoo came on and said they were taking a break??? has anyone ever had this happen?

When Yahoo performs scheduled maintenance, they make note of what may be affected.  If it’s not the result of scheduled or unscheduled maintenance to the site, it may be a unique error.

If you lost the post you were going to make, I would suggest using a third party application to type responses, ie Microsoft word or notepad.  Then simply copy and paste your response into the “your answer:” field and submit your response.  If you receive this error again, you will still have your response typed up in the third party app you decided to use.

yes I have had that. Answers is doing a lot of little fixes so they need to shut down the site before they can make any changes.
