What was this dance?

Question

I was at a talent show, and a kid did an amazing dance i want to learn. It was sort of like yoga, and he lowered himself really low to the ground, and lifted his leg up really high. I asked him what it was and he gave sum sort of weird name that sounded like Feing-shu-something..... Although i'm not sure if that's correct.

What dance was this?
