What was(& to who) was Obama apologizing to on the Campbell Brown show on CNN?

I missed it...just got in on the tail in of it . something about calling some body sweetie.

He was out in public and a news reporter asked him a question and he put her off, calling her "Sweetie" in the process...which is a real putdown for women.....a real mistake...and some thought he also didn't want to answer the question.

He later said he often calls people "sweetie", but later women on the news media were making fun of him....mimicing him and calling their peers "sweetie".  Was not good form!

It was also pretty funny that Bush was giving a speech and made a comment that there are some people who think they should just go talk to terrorists...and he compared them to "appeasers in World War II" that wanted to "reason" with Hitler!  All the Democrats came out in force, assuming he was referring to them...which was really kind of funny when it was just a general comment.....but evidently, Obama had said awhile back in answer to a question, that "yes...the would go talk to all of our enemies"....and named them.  The President was making a point of how devastating this would be for our country...and how much it would help the terrorists.  Guess this little comment, gave them all a guilt trip or something.

Also, not very well known is the fact that Ted Kennedy's father, Joe Kennedy, was one of these appeasers who was making a mint of money from the Germans and didn't want us to fight the Naziis....but it is a fact.  Now Ted supports Obama.
