What was up with David Letterman tonight??

I'm not sure if the segment between Dave and Richard Simmons was scripted or not? It seemed like Letterman was going out of his way to be really mean and rude. I didn't know if it was scripted or not?

That stuff between Dave and Simmons is always scripted. They are actually good friends.......BTW, this is the baseball section.

No it was not scripted however the way they were is all in good natured.KIDDING.it happens any time Richard is on. If it bothered

Richard he  certainly would not keep coming on. I know

they are not comedians per sae but it is like when one comic

(kidding) puts the other down....or like brothers and sisters do sometimes
