What was up with Shawn Johnson's hair at the gymnastics gala?

Yeah so was Nastia's. I thought it looked cute ha ha! They simply didnt have to feel the pressure of judges scoring them or messing up. So naturally you just dont doll up as much.

Also they probably slept considerably later than usual. I wouldnt doll up either.

I liked it! I thought it looked more fashionable & 'looser'.. and figured she was able to 'loosen' up a bit due to it being a gala.

It definitely looks better then being slicked back all tight seeing barrettes and scrunchies in their hair.....

I thought she looked very cute!

She didn't have much time to fix her hair after what we did together about an hour b4 the gala. She had to just put it all up like that.

You should have seen her hair BEFORE the gala. Messy was and understatement

I saw that too..it was messed up, but it was just the gala, so she was probably taking advantage of the fact that there is no rules and her hair doesn't have to be perfect..
