The first period for the Pens and wings was kind of messed up with the one goal the wings scored. i thought it looked clean, what is your opinion on it?

plus what do you do when watching a hockey game, i hate when people talk to me becuase it distracts me then i would miss if my team scored.

  1. Refs discretion. but I believe the goal was good. The stick made contact because Fleury moved out of the crease. The contact did not interfere with the goalie's motion.  And I am a wings fan.

The wings learned when this happened to them against the Stars. Detroit in 6

  2. What goal? BS call, and tell your friends to shut up your watchin the game or tryin

Might as well take the sticks away n call it "soccer"

  3. Fleury was out of the crease.  I don't think Holmstrom even had his stick on Fleury that long, if anything, it was just in front of Fleury, not pushing or slashing him or anything like that.  It does suck to be Holmstrom though...The Datsyuk goal from the previous series was a "no goal" becuase he was "in the crease."

I talk to my brother during commercials, or during slow play, but I hate when my friends call or text me during games (they're not hockey fans).  I just ignore the texts and silence the calls.  :-D

  4. Alright so they called Goalie Interference, which it *clearly* wasn't.  Fleury came OUT of the crease into one of the Wing's player's stick.  He skated right into the stick and his movements were not restricted in anyway.  Such a crummy call.

  5. 1-0 Wings!

  6. the refs were right - the stick was touching the goaltender for several seconds, and was restricting his movement, even if only a little bit.

    That's classic goaltender interference.

second part - it is annoying, yes.  Good thing for instant replays.

  7. once again mr bill...i consider you an idiot

    b.s. call........this isnt badmitten...its hockey

  8. yes, i agree that bill is an idiot who has OBVIOUSLY gone to gary bettman's school of nhl...

it was a terrible call, fleury came out of the crease and into holmstrom's stick... even the commentators (who are very anti-wings) commented on how that was a poor call.

  9. The referee was right, the goalie was being restricted (even though it was only a little bit) because the stick was on him for several seconds. At first I thought it was a goal, but when I watched the replay I knew it wasn't a true goal. But hey, at least we won 4-0!

  10. agreed
