What was up with the "Hottie" Buttons?

I maybe wrong, but isn't that a sexist thing to do. People were walking around with buttons stating their VP is a hottie. Pi ti ful.

Yes, it was sexist. And a bit creepy.

They are still in the 50's as a party though, one must take that into account.
