Did anyone else find it a bit depressing? So essentially he will only get to see his wife and son for like a half dozen days in his entire life. That sounds like a pretty miserable existence.

  1. i absolutely positively hated the ending, it made me never wanna watch the movie again and really pissed me off about how it started so strong as a trilogy, i never want to see it again....strong reaction , i know

  2. I think it's a bit romantic actually.  The ultimate leap of faith!  ...And it's better than him dying altogether which was the alternative.

  3. Glad to know I wasn't the only one who felt that way but if you paid attention they leave a spot open for movie number four aka the search for the fountain of youth

  4. Don't worry, the fourth Pirates is being made right now. its called Pirates of the Caribbean: The Fountain of Youth

  5. Davy Jones killed him, so he wouldn't have had a son and wouldn't be able to see Elizabeth at all.  A little is better than none.  I think it's sad too, but they could have completely killed him.  That would've been even worse.

  6. Yup. I totally agree with you. He will live forever but not his wife and son. One day they don't come and will never come anymore... And his job is to send people to the other world right? fancy sending your own family there... better to die than live forever but lonely.

  7. dude no offense but u just wasted 5 points when you could have just headed over to wikipedie or imdb

  8. That ending was horrible...but I here Disney signed a contract with the film company nad they HAVE to make a 4th movie...

so maybe they will find a solution to the problem lol lol

  9. it was terrible. that movie was only good for the first half, i was completely disappointed with the last half.

and i absolutely loved the first two movies. a bad miss with that ending.

  10. 'That depends on the one day'

It's all in the attitude and how you look at it.
