  1. In sparring, my best fight was after a long workout, my partner and I were both soaked in sweat and sore to the bone. The adrenaline got pumping, we both got into it, and our instructors let us go at it for two minutes. The beautiful thing was that, despite our obvious physical state, we were both ready to keep going and push through and fight each other.

My worst fight was when I got the c**p beat out of me by a senior instructor and I never even got close to him. That was a humbling experience. Get beat up by a sixty? seventy? eighty? year old guy.

Also, people hate ninjas because you can't see where they are, even after you wake up in the hospital.

  2. Best Fight - I dropped a weight class (I usually fight at 185, but dropped to 170 - I'm big at 170lbs).  I was talking to a guy before the match and he was telling me about his Toughman fights, his dojo, how he's a real tough guy.  We each won our prelim fights and it ends up me vs this tough guy for the first place trophy.  Bell rings - I go in...he kind of stands there...I punched him once, kicked him once, and he ran away from me the rest of the fight.  He ended up disqualified.  The fight itself wasn't that great, it was just the fact of shutting up a loudmouth.

Ninjas?  People hate ninjas because they are assassins - Ninjas kill people while they sleep and that is cowardly.  People hate cowardly ninjas.

  3. Best fight:

When I was around 17? or so, my cousins and I were roaming around summer fest (Milwaukee summer fest - its a huge, nationally famous music and food fest).

In our wanderings, my cousin lipped off to a couple of other kids.  My cousins were 15 or 16 I think as were the other kids.

Keep in mind that I'm a pretty small guy as were my cousins at the time.  The two other kids were much larger than I was - I think that's what really cause the 'fight' - intimidation and the lack there of...

My cousins told the others, after having been thrown to the ground that I knew Karate and was going to kick their asses.  Oh well, the gauntlet had been throw and there was nothing to be done about it.

Guy says he can take me alone so the other one steps back and he the first one takes a fighting stance.  I just kind of stood there and tried to reason with him.

He rushed me so I reacted by just stepping to the side.

He ran into and knocked himself out on a big-top style tent pole that was permanently affixed to the ground with concrete.

My cousins and I walked away with haste.

    Worst fight:

Same event.  I felt bad since the whole thing was about egos and I hadn't defused the situation before it got out of control.

It was elegant and simple and the attacker caused his own defeat, but it wasn't necessary and I wish it hadn't happened.  The whole thing had basically been about ego.

    ____

I don't know if people hate ninjas per say.  I do think that people get annoyed with others claiming they are ninjas in an attempt to earn 'cool' points.

  4. my best fight was in tae kwon do i was sparing my cousin and i hit him with a turning kick to the nose it was realy funnymy worst fight was when some guy slagged off a girl i knew then slagged off me so i ran at him but he pushed his bike at me and i fell

    it was very not funny

  5. Fighting the IRS was my best and worst fight. It was the worst because the beat the c**p out of me. It was the best because it woke me up to the realities of personal finance. Now I'm debt-free and building real wealth. Basically, what does not kill us, makes us stronger.

    Concerning hating ninjas:

Only pirates hate ninjas...and only ninjas hate pirates. They hate each other because they are jealous of each other. Ninjas are jealous of how pirates get to travel and get with women. Pirates are jealous of how ninjas have so much time alone and can simply vanish.

If they only saw how much they are alike: outlaws, killers, use nature...they would learn to love each other.
