What was your best hockey game?

mine was my first. the lightning beat the caps 5-2. i sat in the very last row of the 3 level. i cound'nt see well but it was okay.

Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals in 2006. Hurricanes get the shutout win, it wasn't even close.

The most fun was when I traveled to Pittsburgh to check out Mario Lemieux in his rookie year. It was also the first time I got to see the Islanders live when Bossy, Trottier and Potvin were still great.

Mario and Bossy both scored. I seem to remember that the Islanders won 5-3...but not sure of the final score. The Pens were outclassed but put up a good fight.

My favorite game I watched on tv was Game 2 of the 1986 Stanley Cup between Calgary and Montreal when Brian Skrudland scored just 9 seconds(!) into overtime to give Montreal a two-game lead in the series.

Last regular season game this year in Newark Devils vs. Rangers. Got to see my first shootout, Penelty shot and Overtime win live.

Personally 1993 NJ State HS Championships. I was the winning goalie in a cup final wearing a blood covered white jersey.

......Hmm, I'd have to say the Game 1 of the Ottawa/Pittsburgh series. Penguins won 4-0. Gary Roberts had two sweet goals, and Ryan Whitney beat the shite out of someone. All in all..........it was awesome. An awesome game and an awesome night.
