What was your experience with hair removal (like Nair or Veet)?

Question

If you have used Nair, Veet, or anything similar let me know what you thought about it. Tell me what type of product you used and, if it worked, how long did it last? I'm getting tired of shaving all the time! :-)

Iuse the Nair hair removal cream, and it works great! The smoothness lasts 3x longer than shaving. It smells funy, but we'll move past that. DO NOT use downstairs, it HURTS and you get a rash, ew. Good luck and God bless:]

I've used Veet. I find the hair grows back pretty much the same as when you shave. I gave up on it and just prefer to shave, as it takes about the same amount of time, has to be done as often but it's cheaper.

You could try waxing. I'm thinking about giving it a try myself, but haven't had the time lately.

I use Nair and it seems to work for a couple of weeks so you don't have to shave all the time.

I've used 2 versions of Nair.  both times, it removed like 10 hairs at most...and my leg started bleeding.  no, I didn't have any cuts or anything.  my leg just started bleeding wherever hair was removed.  I had to call the company for a refund both times.  I don't recommend it either.

i make the wax by my self . i put  sugar and some lil water and poil it , then leave it to cool it and don't forget the lemon

i have used nair.. and they said that u have to grow the hair out on your legs so that it is kinda thick then put this stuff on and it should wash right off.. WRONG, maybe it is because of my nationality that it is not coming off like others? but, i doubt it. i would stick to shaving...its easiest and least expensive.

I've used Veet and my experience wasn't bad at all. I used it quite a while back though . The only thing I didn't like was the smell, it was quite harsh on my nose but maybe Veet has improved since then, and it has a more pleasant scent now.

I have used both.

and, I highly don't suggest it! my skin would get very irratated.
